Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: blower motor running constantly, sheet metal screws, sierra 4x4

Would you tell me where the blower control module is located?  We bought the truck used so there is no warranty so if we can replace it ourselves and save a little money it would be great.  Thanks in advance.  Deb

Question -
I have a 2004 GMC Sierra 4x4.  Yesterday the ac/heater blower motor would not turn off. It also runs on high no matter which speed is selected. This morning the battery was dead and the truck had to be jumped to start it.  Can you help.  Thanks in advance.  Deb

HI DEB,YOU HAVE A SHORTED BLOWER CONTROL MODULE.THAT MAY BE A DEALER PART ONLY AND I WOULD THINK IT`S COVERED UNDER YOUR WARRANTY...IT`S A 2004 MODEL????

THE BLOWER CONTROL PROCCESOR IS LOCATED UNDER THE A/C UNIT FRONTING THE PASSENGER SIDE. IT IS LOCATE NEXT TO THE BLOWER MOTOR AND IS MOUNTED BY SHEET METAL SCREWS. YOU GOTTA LOOK UNDER THE DASH AND A PANEL COVER NEEDS TO REMOVED TO GAIN ACCESS TO THE PROCCESOR.
