Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: 98 escort AC problem, electronic leak detector, lukewarm air

My AC is not blowing cool. The fan speeds change fine and plenty of air moves but it is not cool. When I change the compressor from reg to max it definately changes how much air is moving as it always as but it is still lukewarm air. Where could the problem lie. This is a 1998 Ford Escort.

You need to:

1. remove all the existing freon.

2. Install a can of freon and use an electronic leak detector to look for any leaks.

3. Remove the can of freon from the system.

4. Evacuate the system using a vacuum pump.

5. Recharge the system using a set of AC gages.
