About how much should it cost to replace the Evaporator Core and Condenser? I was quoted $863 + Tax. Is that price about right?

WHY would they need to change BOTH. The evap is inside the vehicle under the dash and the condensor is in front of the radiator.

Something does not sound right here.

I was told that the reason my a/c has not been cooling well is because I have a leak in the evaporator core and a leak in the condenser. Does that sound ligit to you? I sure do thank you for your input.

In over 30 years woprking on all types of automobiles, I can't remember EVER having BOTH components leak at the same time.

Be careful that your not being taken for a ride.

I am not saying it is not possible, But I would be very suspicious.
