93 ford econoline 5L 90,000km vehicle tempeture gauge reads normal but i cant get hot air from heater I felt the rad hoses the top hose was hot and the bottom hose was cold . it doesnt matter if your on the highway or sitting still the tempeture gauge remains normal there is no smells or leaks the fluid is full . I shift the control knob for the ducts and everything seems to work fine any ideas.
Answer -
IF the bottom hose is COLD this would be a fault in the water valve , A plugged heater core or a problem with the heater dore daper door controller.

I have also noticed that the odd time after driving the vehicle there is a small bit of antifreeze on the ground just below the rad drian plug. if it is one of the above problems can a novice fix them
