I HAVE A 99 DAKOTA HOW DO I GET TO THE HEATER CORE TO REPLACE?

Faulty heater cores have been a big issue with Dodge's in the last few years and are a NIGHTMARE to replace as you have to remove the complete dash assembly in order to replace the core.

This MAJOR project with all the linkages, wires and resetting all the control modules is NOT for a novice to tackle.

If you do not posess high mechanical and electrical skills, I urge you to NOT try this project.

Getting it done professionally will set you back about $700.00.
