Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: Jeep Heater Problem, jeep cherokee, base model

I have a 1996 Jeep cherokee Xj, just the base model with the $.0 liter high output engine and recently my heat stopped working all together, when turned on it only blows cold air and no hot air comes out even after car has been warmed up, I am not sure what to replace or what I can do to fix this any help would be greatly appriciated.

Are BOTH heater hoses HOT to the touch when tthe engine is at normal operating temp ?.

Are you getting air flow, LOW, MEDIUM, HIGH, from the floor, center, defrost vents ?.

What type of work of ANYKIND has been done on this vehicle ?.
