AnswerI have encountered this many times and unless it gets worse, I would just maintain proper transmission fluid and filter changes.
Have you had the transmission fluid and transmission filter changed within the last 25,000 miles ?
If NOT, I would advise doing so.
DO NOT tell the repair facility about this problem because there are still some dishonest unprofessional facilities that will try and take advantage of you and try and sell you a transmission rebuild for approx $1,500.00 or MORE.
As long at the transmission fluid remains it's normal RED color and it does not have a BURNT dark colored appearance to it, I would not do anything except have it serviced.
Let me know if this problem gets worse.
