Question
can i adjust  door striker   how to adjust door hinges

Answer
Hi Gino!....The door hinges on these model trucks are actually welded to the body of the vehicle, and to the door shell itself.  The only way to adjust the hinges is to actually bend the hinge itself. There are various tricks to do this, but for me to try and explain without showing you in person, would more than likely cause more problems. I would suggest that you stop by your local Autobody/Autoparts store, and purchase an actual "Hinge Alignment Tool". They usually run in the $50 to $75 Dollar range. They should be able to show you how to use it properly. As far as the door striker is concerned, there is usually no adjustment at all on these vehicles either. What you can do in this case, is to remove the pillar trim so you have access to the striker cage plate, and then carefully remove the striker and cage plate. If you simply unscrew the striker, the cage plate will drop down inside the bottom of the pillar. Once you have removed the assembly, you can enlarge the striker hole to give you some adjustment using a die grinder or a metal file. Hope this helps you out....If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to drop me another line....Thanks....Dave
