Auto body repair & detailing: 1996 Plymouth Voyager Window, plymouth voyager, plexi glass

Question
BB gun bandit did a drive by.
Can you tell me how to remove and replace a damaged side panel window on my 1996 Voyager?
It is the window directly behind the drivers door window.
I am unsure how the glass is attached to the body and would like to replace it with either another glass window or plexi-glass. Thanks for any info you could give me about this.

Answer
You need to cut the urethane holding the rest of the glass in, clean the glass up, and run a thick heavy bead of windshield urethane over where the old urethane was. Than, clean the urethane off of the use if you use  a used glass, and just plunk it right on! Use masking tape around it to hold it in, and leave one of the door windows cracked open about 2 inches for 2 days. This will prevent the compression that occours when you slam a door shut from blowing a hole in the wet urethane before it sets. Bill
