Auto body repair & detailing: Car Door, power window regulator, pulley system

Question
The window recently fell off of the track on the passenger side of my 1999 Honda Accord two door and after inspection the bolt holding the gear to the window sheared off. It seems to be very difficult to fix since I can't get into the door where the window is.  Is there anyway to fix this or would buying a new door be better/economically better?

Answer
It needs a new power window regulator assembly, This is a common problem. You can get an aftermarket (non-Honda) for about half the cost of a new Honda part. There is no repairing the existing part, they have a goofy cable and pulley system that destroy themselves when the top pulley goes bad. They're poorly designed, and incredibly cheap quality. New doors coma as an empty, unpainted shell, and used doors are very expensive. The regulator can be fished out of there, trust me- I just am not familiar with the procedure on your particular car.
