Auto body repair & detailing: Side View Mirror, car 2001, honda civic

My car (2001 Honda Civic) was hit this weekend and the driver side view mirror was completely hit off and there was scraping on the side of the car. I wanted to know an estimate of how much this would be to fix. The wires are completely torn off and I'm thinking because of this it will be more expensive. I'm hoping my insurance covers it, but I will need an estimate beforehand. Thanks

As much as I'd like to help, I cannot give you an accurate estimate over the internet. There are too many variables to be able to do that such as part usage (is the mirror power, heated, light sensing, painted or not, etc.) There is also the issue of whether or not there is any damage to the mounting area on the door. One last thing to consider is geographically, the labor rates in my area of the world may differ from the rates in yours.
