Auto Glass: Windsheild scratches, CERIUM OXIDE

Question
Derek.
I did used a  home windsheild chip repair kit and was attempting to clean off the excess glue. I had a brain fart and used steel wool! Of course that left a bunch of small scratches! Is there anything that will remove or hide these? I know you can get scratch kits for paint, what about for glass? Thanks!

Answer
Hi Bud ,

If you have tried Toothpaste and wax and it did not work ,  there is something called Jewelers Polish or CERIUM OXIDE that you can get from any Glass shop or Ebay.

Rub it on until the scratches are gone!

You can also try Micro Compound from 3M at any good auto parts store or auto body shop if you cant find a glass shop around.

         Hope This Helps!
