Auto Glass: 2001 Honda EX 4dr Passenger Front Glass, honda accord ex, wiring connector

Question
My car is Honda Accord EX 4d 4c 01
I did successfully replace a door actuator for front, passenger side door.
I did take a glass truck off for replacing the actuator which is on the side of the actuator. Because I don't know, I also took several bolts (3 or 4?) off which are for tighten the regulator outside. But I didn't take off the bolts ( 2? ) through the holes which I think they are for tighten the glass to the regulator and the bolts ( 2? ) which are for hold a outside metal bar to the regulator inside.

The window glass is unbalance right now.
How can I balance the glass?

Your help is a lot.

Answer
Hello Bruce,

If the glass will not move up and down smoothly on the regulator, try the following steps.

1.  remove the door panel

2.  plug the window switch into the wiring connector

3.  lower the window until you can reach the bolts that hold the glass to the regulator

4.  remove the bolts that hold the glass to the regulator

5.  slide the glass all the way up and hold it up with a piece tape

6.  run the regulator up and down and observe if everything works smoothly.  if the regulator
does not move smoothly you need to correct whatever is wrong.

7.  if the regulator works properly, run the regulator all the way down.

8.  remove the tape on the glass and manually move the glass up and down.  be sure the glass
is moving smoothly in the rubber channels on the front & back edges of the glass

9.  if the glass moves smoothly by hand then you should be able to re-attached it to the
regulator and everything should work properly.
