Car Stereos: 2005 Chevy Tahoe, chevy tahoe, antenna wire

Hey I was wondering if you can tell me how to hook up my antenna wire from my after market amp. And i have a factory radio with a converter. The converter has 2GRN, 2 BLK, and a BLK ground wire. Where d the wires hook up to??? In dying neeof help..Thank you

Hi Jay,

I'm not entirely sure I understand your questions, but I'll try and respond.

First, there is no antenna wire to your amp; the antenna wire comes from the antenna of the car and goes into the deck, so there should be no antenna hookup on the amp.

As for the 'converter' do you mean a wire harness?  If it's a factory radio, then it should just connect to the same coloured wires on the factory deck.

If I've assumed incorrectly, which I think I might have, can you clarify for me?
