Automotive Plastics: gasket?, weather stripe door jamb gasket

Question
Automotive Plastics: gasket?, weather stripe door jamb gasket
door gasket
i have a 2000 3/4 ton ford four door. i had some body work done to it about a year ago, and after i got it back i noticed wind whistling around one of the back doors like it wasnt shut good.  when i took it back the guy told me it was because i was missing a piece of rubber that he said was missing prior to when he worked on it. he said it required drilling holes in the door to snap the piece of rubber in place. any way i was wondering if you could tell me what this piece is called and possibly where i could find it. i know it might not be the kind of thing you deal with but thought it might be worth a shot.  attached is a picture of the other door that has the gasket and ill try to send a picture in anothe message of the door w/o it.  thanks

Answer
Hi Joseph, sorry for changing this question from private to public. I think it has no private information and falls in to this category. The part we are dealing with is called door jamb upper weather stripe (in this case, to the right rear door).
I do not know exactly where to find it but you can get the part number of the left stripping by taking it out from the door. Ford usually uses a combination of numbers and letters which are a hint to the other side replacement part(must be in the no visible side attached to the door frame). Any dealer can help you to manage your order. Some times dealers do not take orders for models older than 5 years. If so, I would search in junk yards for a spare. This piece must be protected prior to winter with some oil as it tends to get loose and lost. Thanks
