Automotive Plastics: glove compartment lock is broke, mail subject, glove boxes

how can i get into my glove compartment when the latch is broke that controls the lock to open the glove compartment
with out braking the lock

Hi Tracy, sorry for not answering earlier.There are as many different glove boxes as car models with different latches and ways to open them when broken.

Please send me close-ups of both the external side of the lock and from underneath the the box, where the hinge(S) is (are) set in the dashboard. I will answer with suggestions to open it.
