Auto Parts: Honda crv clutch problems?, clutch master cylinder, honda crv

Question
QUESTION: I have a 2000 honda crv with 130k miles I have been having problems that while driving after a little while I start to lose the ability to shift.  Also while this starts happening I start to have to really accelerate when shifting because I dont seem to be able to more very freely like if my clutch was still ingaged.  I have taken my crv into two macanics and they both agreed that it was my clutch.  Well long story short I have replaced the entire clutch both master and slave cylinders and the tubing on the clutch only to findout that I am still having the same trouble.  The wierd thing is that once I have this problem if I let the car cool down for a hour or two it drives just great.  I am loosing my mind and my savings doing all these repairs if you have any idea I would greatly apreaciate the help.

ANSWER:      I don't want to seem as though I'm assuming you did something wrong, but... you said you replaced the clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder and the tubing.  Did you replace the clutch itself (which I agree is what is probably wrong)?  That is the disc, plate, and throwout bearing inside the bell housing between the engine and transmission.  This is a difficult job to do at home.  If you did all of this and are still having problems, you might want to look into bleeding the hydraulic system.  I'll enclose a picture of the parts I'm talking about.

QUESTION: Thank you for your timely response I apologise if I made it seem like I was doing the work but all my clutch work has been done by a mechanic and as for the clutch and asembly it too was replaced.  This is the real reason that I am loosing my mind is that every mechanic I ask tells me it sounds like the clutch, but the clutch is only two weeks old.

Answer
The only other thing that I can think of is that perhaps the throwout bearing isn't functioning correctly.  If it isn't fully releasing the pressure plate, it might cause those symptoms.  This could really only happen if part of the release assembly were bent or otherwise damaged, or if the wrong bearing assembly somehow got used.  It is not super unusual to find a mechanic using the wrong bearing, many of them look exactly the same.  But all it takes is a few hundredths of an inch to cause the release point to be in the wrong place.
