Auto Parts: modulator valve, silverado, gears

cant seem to find modulator valve, could it be electric.I have a 1991 silverado that will not shift gears, cant find vacuume hose, but I did find wires on the drivers side

Hi David,

Your shifting is controlled by the governor. If your trans is not shifting, remove, clean and re-install the governor.
