Auto Parts: 99 toyota solara, toyota supra, knuckle assembly

I have been told that I can upgrade my front calipers and use 96 toyota supra 2 piston front calipers. I got this from a solara owner on the net.  Said he used the supra calipers.  Can't pin him down as to what exactly is needed.  I would very much like to do this. Our rotors are 10.8" and the 96 supra is approx 11.9.  I am hoping you will say the supra calipers will work on the solara rotors.

I wish I could say the Supra calipers will work on your Solara, but I can't because they won't, not directly anyway. I'm certain you will need to modify the spindle/knuckle assembly somehow to allow the larger rotors to fit onto your vehicle. We don't deal too much with import tuning or upgrades of any kind, only used parts that are OEM replacement. Now if you know what will work, I could gather the parts for you but I wouldn't be able to guarantee they would fit correctly since it would not be an OEM application.
