If I have the VIN #, is it possible to get a NEW door lock key made for the existing door lock of my son's 1992 Olds Cutlass Supreme?

Hi Shari,

Not with the VIN it's not, unless you go back to the dealership but even they may not be able to retrieve data for a vehicle of that age but you CAN use the passengers (right) door lock set to have a new key manufactured at almost ANY locksmith.

Remove the tumbler-set (the piece you put the key in to unlock the door) from the passengers-side door (this tumbler-set is the only one stamped with the key-code on it) and take it to a locksmith, you'll leave with a set of new keys for both the doors as well as the ignition. and it won't cost you an arm or a leg.
