Auto Parts: gem module, electric door locks, mercury model

Question
I am looking for the gem module location in my 2002 ford mustang GT.  The
drivers side power door lock doesn't work and the dealer told me the gem
module shorted out.  since they want to rip me off and charge an insane amount
of money, I want to try to find one at a junk yard.  What model years would work
for me?  Where is it located?  What does it look like? Thank you

Answer
GEM = "Generic Electronics Module", so-called because it is used in virtually every Ford and Mercury model. Also known as the "Multifunction Electronics Module", it controls remote keyless entry, electric door locks, trunk release, trunk light, interior courtesy lights, intermittent windshield wipers, auto-down driver's window, and some other subsystems.

It is simply a rectangular black box, held on to the fuse box with three torx type screws.
I can't find any pictures online of it, check in the haynes or chilton's- there should be a shot in there.
