Car Alarms: Stratus rt

Hi I'm having trouble getting my alarm to shut off. Yesterday my buddy at work tried to diagnose my check engine light and ended up setting off my alarm. I've tried my key to dis-engage the alarm and also have disconnected the battery several times.

Try the key in the drivers door, turn hard left
then right. But this car also will need the remote it came with.
Without it, extensive relay and resistor work and the addition
of an after market keyless entry
system is the only way around it.
