Car Alarms: 96 honda alarm disable, alarmtek, honda accord

I need to disable the alarm on my 96 honda accord. The FOB no longer works and I just replaced the battery, but the car will not start unless the alarm is reset. I can't reset it. I believe it is an aftermarket alarm.
