Car Alarms: Car alarm malfunction, isuzu rodeo, 2001 isuzu rodeo

I have a 2001 Isuzu Rodeo LS.  Both my alarm remote keys stopped working today and I could not disarm the alarm and get the car started.  If I press the remote lock button the horn beeps 4 times.  If I open and close the door the alarm goes off and I can't turn it off with the remote.  The remotes won't even open or close the door locks.  The alarm is the original DENSO alarm.  It is as if the computer lost the key codes and is not responding when I press the remote keys.  How can I disable the alarm so that I can start the SUV?  The remote batteries were replced recently.  Because the ignition is locked off I cannot even try to reprogram the remotes. What do you suggest I do?
