Car Alarms: alarm, honda accord, auto responder

my 96 honda accord has a pursuit alarm installed in it won't start for some reason.. I think the alarm has something to do with it because it's acting as a cutoff switch and is not ableing me to crank it over.. What do you think is the problem??
