Car Alarms: Problem with 2003 Hyundai Tiburon alarm, rf remotes, hyundai tiburon

Question
QUESTION: I have a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon GT. I have two remotes with batteries I just installed last week. Saturday night I parked my car and alarmed the car with the remote. Yesterday morning I went to start my car and neither of my remotes will work to unlock/disarm the alarm. I called the dealer and they suggested locking/unlocking the car door multiple times with the key so the alarm would recognize that I am using the key to unlock the door. This has also been unsucessful. I saw an article about locating a valet switch, which I have been unable to locate. Are there any other suggestions you have to disarm the alarm so that I can drive my car? I would be grateful,
Thank you.

VALET SWITCHES
ANSWER: See if you can locate it under the dash on the steering column or
to the left leg area.

see attached file.

When found, try key in the ignition to the on position,
locate and press in the valet switch for 4 to 8 secs.
you should get a response from the alarm, turn off key.

Then try to start.

That should take care of it.

QUESTION: I see from the attached file this is for after market alarms, mine is a factory install. Would it have something similar? My owners manual doesn't mention anything about a valet switch.
Thank you for your response.

Answer
Better go to the dealership parts department then because the only
way to disarm the OEM system is with the OEM remotes.
If they are not working or lost programming, you need them
to have this ammended. The notes all say that only the RF remotes
that came with this car can disarm it, so that's the advice I have
to put forward on it.
