Buick/Olds: 92 Century suddenly stalls, dashboard lights, buick century

Question
Hi Harold,
I have a 1992 Buick Century with a 3.3L V6 w/fuel injection and 49,000 miles.  The car has recently started to stall without warning, cutting out after driving for about 20 to 30 minutes.  The dashboard lights come on, no power etc.  After sitting for 10 to 20 minutes it will start up again and then stalls after another 20 minutes of driving.

To this point I have had the car tuned up and the ignition module was replaced, however, the problem remains.  Is there a logical next step here?  Or am I looking at a lot of trial and error?

Thanks

Answer
There should be no reason for any trial and error. If the car stalls and then wont restart right away, it should be easy to find the problem. All you have to do is let it run until it stalls, then check for spark, fuel injector pulse, and fuel pressure. One or more will not be working correctly. Then you just need to determine why it lost one or more of those things. Which is really quite simple. If you are going to be checking this yourself, you can let me know what its doing and I will try to walk you through it.
