Car Alarms: Car Alarm, alarmtek, 2006 honda civic

Question
I lost my car alarm for my 2006 honda civic. I have an aftermarket alarm on it. But I lost the keys with the alarm button. I'm going to buy a spare key to turn it on, but I'm afraid that the alarm is going to go off. Is there any way that I could dis-activate it to drive off? Or will I be able to just put the key in the ignition and drive off?

Answer
Hmmmm, well it's Likely going to be factory if it's
the car's own horn honking.

However, if it's a siren and flashing lights,
it's after market.

So, ok, here's what I know...

Normally, putting the key in the drivers side door lock,
turning to the left, then to the right all the way
will unlock and disarm/reset the "OEM factory"
alarm system.

Unfortunately, that's the extent of what I can or should
share openly here at ALLXPERTS.com :>( .

(Actually, it's also legally prescribed for me not to.)

Obviously, posting this sort of sensitive information
for all to see and implement is not a good idea.
Since I can be held liable if my info is used to perpetrate a crime,
we sell it for a very modest fee, and keep track of who buys
it in case it should come back to us for review.
