Car Alarms: 2002 Sebring Coupe Alarm, door locks, oem factory

Question
I bought a 2002 Sebring Coupe at an auction(Bad Idea), It had been stolen and I had to replace the door locks and repair the wiring in the door.  Now, that the vehicle is lockable, everytime I unlock the car I get the car alarm(horn) and cannot turn it off.  What is triggering the alarm and how do I disable it?

Answer
Hmmmm, Likely to be factory if it's the car's
own horn honking.

However, if it's a siren and flashing lights,
it's after market.

Ok, here's what I know...

Normally, putting the key in the drivers side door lock,
turning to the left, then to the right all the way
will unlock and disarm/reset the "OEM factory"
alarm system.

Obviously, posting this sort of sensitive information
for all to see and implement is not a good idea.
Since I can be held liable if my info is used to perpetrate a crime,
we sell it for a very modest fee, and keep track of who buys
it in case it should come back to us for review.
