Saab Repair: california smog test and OBDII codes, california smog test, smog station

Question
I recently took my saab 900s non turbo to have a smog test.  I failed because my computer did not resest for 4 of the tests.  The dealer says keep driving it it will reset but, I have driven over a thousand miles and it still has not reset.  In california you cannot have more than 2 not complete.  I have 4.  What can I do?

Contact the referee smog station as I believe they will issue a waiver for the OBD portion of the test as those earlier OBD2 cars, especially the non-turbo, have a very difficult time setting the readiness codes. You  will likely never get them all to set, and if you do they usually reset whenever you shut the car off.
