Car Alarms: Pursuit Car Alarm/Starter, power door locks, toyota corolla

Question
Greeting! We recently purchased a 2002 Toyota Corolla from a used car lot. Based upon having a Pursuit key fob, and strange little antennae on the top of the windshield, and a constant red light on the dashboard, we believe we have both a remote starter and alarm system.

The used car lot told us the starter had been disabled, but made no mention of the alarm status.

How can I verify if both the alarm and starter have been disabled? We really have no need of either. This is a base-level Corolla with manual windows & locks. I hate to have the alarm go off as we have no idea how to disable it if it does.
Thank you!

Answer
Ok, the system is currently in override mode.
See past posting for VALET/OVERRIDE/AFTER MARKET DISABLING
if you need to keep it this way, but if it's me, I'd have it inspected
for model of system, and look up it's capabilities.

You may find it useful if only for the keyless entry.
However, unless adding door lock actuators to make this
car have power door locks, maybe have it removed at the same place.

Then no issues at all.

Have a good weekend and Happy Moms day.
