Car Alarms: Special trck trigger on compustar alarm, site search engine, rear doors

Question
Hi,
I am new to the site and have been searching vigorously to find an answer to my question and have had no luck so Im hoping you guys will be able to help me out :)

The vehicle: 2008 Toyota Tunrda Crewmax
The Unit installed: 2005 compustar 2 way remote. i believe it is a cm4200 brain with a 2w8000fmr(3000) remote.
The question:
I met a surveyor this summer who had a 2way alarm installed on his truck. he showed me something really practical that he had got done to it and it is something i need to do. At the bulkhead of his truck (outside)running to his truck box was a wire. this wire made a closed loop and had a connection/plug that could break the connection (male and female end). now when the alarm was armed and this connection from the wire was broke his alarm would siren. he used this to put a extended wire through his quads so if someone was trying to steal them off the back of his truck they would have to break the wire connection and the alarm would sound. additionally when the vehicle was not armed and the connection was broke the alarm would not sound.
I would really like to know how I could go about doing this? could i use an existing unused trigger in the control module to do so (trunk trigger or hood trigger) or could i splice a wire into the factor door lock wires on the rear doors? any help would be greatly appreciated.
i also want to add, i feel confident that i could do this mod myself but i am not the most tech savy guy when it comes to electronics so please take that into consideration when answering my question.

Thank you in advance for any help.
