Car Alarms: 1999 Sebring factory alarm, fluke multimeter, shock sensor


Question
symptom: key in run position, red brake indicator light on, odometer lit. NO START.

Alarm may have been triggered. if so, perhaps alarm is not turning off?

I have all factory manuals and diagrams for this car.

i do not have access to DRBIII. HAVE SPENT APPROX. 15 HOURS IN ZERO DEGREE WEATHER,TRYING TO TROUBLESHOOT.
HIGHLY SKILLED WITH FLUKE MULTIMETER.

DESPERATE.

STARTER KILL
Troublesome. This car's "factory" alarm is also part of the
door lock system. There is 1 wire to ground.
However, we don't share this online as public knowledge.

However. if this has an after market alarm on it, it's possible
there is also a starter kill relay inline on the starter wire.
(siren, starter kill, shock sensor, flashing marker lights)
But the thing to do here is to actually inspect this possibility.

The starter wire is BLACK/RED in the ignition switch.
