Car Alarms: vesco car alarm, valet mode, saturn ion

Question
Aftermarket on Saturn Ion. Trying to diconnect the system. Flashers go on upon startup, this started happening when the battery was diconnected for cleaning. Checking under the i/p,I observed a switch with w 4 tiny wires leading off. 2 had already been pulled.(I assume thats was to disconnect the horn alarm)I also notice a little black push button attachment.I've push this button, & nothing happens. Also a small black box was hog tied around the steering column which has a clicking noise coming from it.(possibly theflasher alarm)I Want to diconnect alarm at this point. Maybe Pulling the remaining 2 wires?

Answer
ok, put it all back together.
Then put it into valet/override.

Then, to try to disarm it,
turn on the ignition key, press and hold in the button
until the alarm chirps 1 time. This should over ride
the system, and only the keyless entry part,
if installed, would still be operating.

The LED (light emiting diode) light in the dash
should also go on solid.=VALET/OVERIDE
( if this is a remote starter, the antenna on the
front window glass may also have the over ride
button inset into it.)

This stops the alarm except for the keyless
entry if installed. Once in Valet mode,
it will allow the car to start and operate
like there was no alarm at all.

The next step is if wanting to remove it,
is to repair the starter kill wiring if installed.

THEN remove all of the ansulary wiring.

For the wiring of the vehicle so you can retrofit
your
That should solve the troubles.

Let me know what you discover.
