Car Alarms: crossfire alarm problems, crossfire system, wiring harnesses

Question
Hello a custom has bought a Crossfire into us as the alarm keeps trigering off for no reason. Is there any comon faults?
Thanks in advance ADAM

Answer
Well, there is ALWAYS a reason. May not be a good one,
but there is definitely something triggering it.

Don't know the Crossfire system but it's likely to
be either a too sensitive impact sensor, or a similar
issue. Best thing to do is inspect the door trigger connections,
the ground points for the alarm and the sensor settings.

So, locate the Crossfire box and wiring harnesses and
trace back to the fault.

Is there a Euro shop there that carries this system
that you can get your hands on an installation manual?

Lastly, make certain the battery is up to snuff.
Something as simple as a perceptible batter drain or
low level can affect an after market alarm by
going off when the power level dips down for any reason.

Check this option too.

Good hunting.
