Car Alarms: 97 accord how to re-arm, flip switch, start the car

Question
I used your advice for a couple of other people when I lost my keyless entry and i pushed the button to disarm the alarm.
well i pushed the button again to rearm it but it doesn't turn the alarm on.
if i push the button twice it blinks once goes off and blinks three times. no alarm. and eventually the light stops flashing. holding the button down like i did to turn it off doesnt do anything.

Hmmmm,
Make sure you do the procedure correctly.
Might have missed a step:

PUT IGNITION KEY IN IGNITION,
KEY ON TO JUST BEFORE CRANKING THE ENGINE.
PRESS IN AND HOLD VALET SWITCH
UNTIL YOU GET A RESPONCE
FROM THE ALARM.

KEY OFF.

This should toggle the alarm in and out of
valet/override.

If toggle type switch.
KEY ON, FLIP SWITCH, KEY OFF,
START THE CAR.

I hope this solved it for you.
