Car Alarms: 2000 dodge neon, dodge neon, inset

Question
when i get out of my neon and set the alarm when i get in the house the alarm goes off by it self nothing has hit it or nobody has touched it was wondering if you have heard of this happening and what i can do to make it stop i lock the car manually now.

Not certain of the system, but MOST knock/impact
sensors have a wheel inset into it to turn up or down
(counter clockwise is down).

Locate the sensor under the dash and turn down or
simply unplug it. Should be a little oblong box
wire tied up high under the dash, and would
blink when it detects vibration.
