Car Alarms: Car wont start after stereo install & replaced fuse, nissan altima, blown fuse

Question
Hello!  1995 Nissan Altima - factory anti-theft system.

I installed an aftermarket stereo yesterday to replace the one I had previously installed (same model) which was recently stolen.  I had to replace a blown fuse beforehand which blew after the first stereo was stolen, I had just not bothered replacing it yet.  Once I did, my factory alarm activated - the horn blew and the lights flashed.  I didn't know how to shut it off at first, so I took the fuse back out.  Then I put the fuse back in and deactivated the alarm.  I continued to work on the stereo because it would turn on but there is no sound from the speakers, and a few minutes later I tried to start the car with no luck.

The engine doesn't try to turn over, and the relays next to the interior fuses click once when I turn the key.  I have power, everything turns on but I did try to jump the car anyway (no luck after 10 mins, no change in any electronics).

The "security" light comes on when I close all the locked doors for about 30 seconds, then goes out.  I've tried turning the key in each door and the trunk, left and right.  I've tried starting the car in neutral and drive (it's an automatic).  I've also tried banging the alternator and starter with a hammer.

Any help is much appreciated!!
