Car Alarms: Remote start draining battery, honda crv, alarmtek

Took my Honda CRV for an electrical drain test and it said my remote start is draining my battery.  If my car sits for a day, I have to jump start it.  The company that installed the equipment does not think this is what is causing the problem.  Does a remote start typically cause a significant drain on the battery or was it installed incorrectly?

NO IT DOES'NT. THE BETTER TEST IS TO PUT A NEW BATTERY IN,
AND SEE IF IT IS AFFECTED ON A DAILY BASIS RATHER THAN
TRY TO WORK WITH YOUR CURRENT SYSTEM.

IT CAN ALSO BE A RELAY THAT'S FROZEN OPEN, BUT I AM
LEANING TOWARDS A BATTERY ISSUE SINCE IT'S RARE
TO SEE THAT.

TRY REPLACING THE BATT FIRST.
