Car Alarms: broken remote, google search, support question

Question
The remote for the viper 500 code plus alarm that my 92 Ford Explorer came equipped with has been giving me difficulties for some time now.  It finally quit on me for good so I hope I can disable the alrm.  Can you assist me with this?
