Nissan Repair: 1986 300zx electrical, light dims, fuse box

my  dash lights and gage lights nor do the heater lights  dont  work all  fuses are good in the fuse box,  had various issues  with the lights,  now my  p/side hi beam wont work,  got the d/side workin by fiddling  with the  switch alot,i replaced the  lights  n tested em prior to puttin em in  i assume i need a new  switch  n all that  but  could this switch issue b affecting my dashlights? and also the cruise  works with lights off but not  when the lights are on, the lil green cc light dims n  kicks out cc. also  my passenger side p/window  only goes up  not down, ive replaced the motor in the  door and the  switch,   am i missing  something is there a relay  in there somewhere for  up  and  down?

Replace the master switch on the column first.  That is the one that controls the headlights and blinkers.  Also, if the dimmer switch on the dash for the instrument lights is defective that will cause problems with the dash lights too.  But, first replace the master switch.
