Car Alarms: remote start, viper remote start, ford explorer sport

Question
I have a 2000 ford explorer sport with what I believe to be a viper remote start.  fcc id:EZSDEI471.  I went out this morning to use my remote start.  The car tried to start but sputtered because it was cold.  It tried to start again and did the same thing.  By this time, I was to the car myself.  Right as it tried to start the third time I reached in and manually turned the key to start it.  When I got to work I put the car in park and turned the key off but the engine was still running.  I then proceeded to put the car in gear, then back to park a couple times before the engine actually stopped.  I go to leave work and nothing works now.  I manually turn the key but nothing happens.  All the lights work, the battery is good, keyless entry works.  I tried to look at other posts and did find a generic reset.  The one where i turn the key and press/hold the valet button under the dash to reset the system. Didn't work.  I disconnected the neg battery cable for 20 min hoping that would do something but it still won't work.  I then tried to turn the key to the on position for 10 min and that didn't work either.  Any suggestions?  Thank you in advance for any help

Answer
THIS IS AN AUTORESPONDER TO A DEI
EQUIPMENT SUPPORT QUESTION...

Ah, then you also saw in past posts that I have
NOTHING to do with Viper/DEI inquires as well.

I No longer am responding to these questions
as it is clearly posted at www.CARPROTECTOR.com
that we don't supply any support questions
on any DEI equipment here at all, period.

Please try a google search for your problem,
or, just read the big sign I placed on
the ALLEXPERTS site to direct ANY DEI support
Q&A that arises.
