Car Alarms: 2007 Honda CRV alarm, 2007 honda crv, 2005 honda crv

Battery c/o -ocurred this weekend , but the vehicle alarm system is not working correctly ?
Question : Would the solution to this problem - be the same as the "alarm on 2005 Honda CRV" issue ?
