Car Alarms: 1997 Mercury Mountaineer Alarm, mercury mountaineer, panic button

My Dad set my alarm off while i was gone my window was down so he popped the hood and disconected the neg on battery. Now the lights 4 my radio come on but when i touch a button it turns off. My alarm will turn on but will not go off unless i press the panic button its like evything half works what can i do
