Car Alarms: my alarm, mitsu eclipse, remote start

I have an alarm system on my mitsu eclipse. It came with the car when i got it second hand it was added in. It is so complicated and so touchy that it shuts of all power to the car more often than i drive it. It is linked to remote start and all kinds of stuff. I'm trying to figure out what kind of alarm system it is to get the instructins manual for it but no luck. I looked under the steering wheel and there are 3 boxes that are part of the alarm. The only other visable piece to it is the remote start reiever in the dash and right next to it a small pad that lights up when the it is armed that says, "Sidewinder" on it with a snake. I have NO idea about this stuff and my car is doing all kinds of things that are obnoxiously loud. HELP!!!!!
