Car Alarms: Car Alarms Mazda 626, mazda 626, car alarms

Question
I have a 1994 mazda 626. I always keep my car in vallet and i guess i might've taken it out of vallet by accident and now i cannot get in my car. The alarm goes off when i open the door, and i have an old key pad, but i can't get it to work. I can get in my car but it will not start and the alarm goes off every time i try.  Can you tell me home to deactive my alrm of how to get the keypad to work?

Answer
Hmmmm,
Make sure you do the procedure correctly.
Might have missed a step:

PUT IGNITION KEY IN IGNITION,
KEY ON TO JUST BEFORE CRANKING THE ENGINE.
PRESS IN AND HOLD VALET SWITCH
UNTIL YOU GET A RESPONCE
FROM THE ALARM.

KEY OFF.

This should toggle the alarm in and out of
valet/override.

If toggle type switch.
KEY ON, FLIP SWITCH, KEY OFF,
START THE CAR.

I hope this solved it for you.
