Car Alarms: which alarm, astra 2000, scion xb

QUESTION: I have a 2005 Scion XB, I'm more concerned with protecting my tools than worrying about somebody stealing my car.  I just need some guidance as to which system to buy and why.

QUESTION: If you could answer like I know nothing that would be good.  If you could send me to a site that explains the terminology that would be better.
This is what I'm thinking in a system. I would like to be notified when somebody is breaking into my car. I would like my car screaming something like "help fire" when someone is breaking into my car but not necessarily standing next to it.  I like the idea of remote starting since I live in a very hot climate.  I'm not sure what else I need.

Another question, I notice that you say in big letters that you don't provide transmitter programming.  I'm assuming that's because people are breaking into cars with a programmed transmitter? just curious, and if I'm right how do we protect ourselves from this?

I don't help or supply programming info as there are soooooo many
types out there, all different, So I choose to only do the ones
I sell here.

It's easier on me since I have sooooo many other things that
I do do here and there are sites that do this service.

On the system, I can dig the heat part as I live in Tampa. :>(
I put in a nice combo in a 2005 Scion last week.
It was the K9 Eclipse (2 way) master unit with a
GALAXY/ASTRA 2000 MDL unit, as YOUR add on remote starter.

As far as the voice module, they do
make one that can be ordered, but the siren
is pretty damn loud!
