Tips on Buying Cars: petrol consumption, volkswagen golf 1, ford fiesta

Hiya Ray, me again, hope your okay

As you may remember im thinking of buying a volkswagen golf 1.6 Cl 5 door hatchback 1994.
 

I used to have a ford fiesta g reg 1.1 and i travelled 100 miles a week on £10.00.  really Id just like to know how much i would be spending doing 100 miles in the golf im interested in.

I dont really want to know about how many miles per gallon, just how much would it cost doing 100 miles per week.

Yes i am still alive and well ( lol )
I am a little confused about your question however...you mention miles...i thought you were KM...?...
Now me being in Canada and you in England how am i to know the cost of gasoline to figure your cost per week ?...
Lorraine...if you followed my steps and test drive the car...and you feel good about the price and handling...then dont worry about the gas cost as the golf is really good on gas...
As a matter of interest where abouts are you located in UK and are you buying from a dealer or private ?...
