Car Alarms: removing/disconnecting alarm system, isuzu rodeo, horn siren

Question
I recently purchased a 1993 Isuzu Rodeo that at one point had a CodeAlarm PRO3000 installed.  Apparently, since the install, the horn/siren had been disconnected, and the wires that attached to a button (perhaps a bypass) and a switch had been disconnected.  There were no remotes when I purchased the truck.  Now, every time somebody bumps the car, or opens the door the lights blink.  There is obviously no siren(as I stated before, it had been disconnected) but the lights flash and won't stop until I put my key in the ignition and turn it to the start position.  This has become a problem to me as it has gone on all night on several occasions.  I have had neighbors knock on my door, and my battery has died on 2 occasions.  I have read about several people having problems with their vehicles not starting after cutting the wrong wire and I don't' want to make the same mistakes.  I appreciate your help and your quick response (I need my truck).

Thanks

Chris

Answer
Hmmmm, On this one, the best thing here is
to go to my installers forum at
www.installsupport.com and see if
my resident technicians there can assist
with this project.

I unfortunately don't know the
system you are working with to advise
you properly on it's functions,
features, or trouble shooting
information. Better to check with a tech
that might.

Good luck there.
