hi ive got a bmw 328 ci 2000 model and the factory car alam goes of for no reason it previously was going of around the same time each morning with siren and blinkers going of and that was it. now its continually going off 5 mins after locking it for first one its siren and blinkers flashing but after you stop it by unlocking car then lock it again 5 mins later just the blinkers are flashing thanks shane

OK but, not a factory system on your's though.

I know this cuz "factory alarms" do not have sirens.

Also a "tell" here that it's after market,
is do you see the flashing LED? Well, after market alarms
use makes them too.

Try to locate the over ride switcy under the dash
and then follow this:

KEY IN AND IN THE ON POSITION JUST BEFORE CRANKING,
PRESS AND HOLD IN VALET SWITCH/BUTTON UNTIL YOU
GET A CHIRP FROM THE SIREN, AND MAYBE A FLASH OF THE LIGHTS.
KEY OFF.

This procedure would let you toggle into and out of
override on most alarms.
